Fadwa Ramadan’s trip to Siwa Oasis, Egypt in 2014 has triggered a newfound interest in the Amazigh language, a group of dialects indigenous to North Africa. She utilized Amazigh letters to create monochrome visual forms, devoid of linguistic meaning. Her work evolved with a focus on Amazigh words and poetry.
