Dar Al Budaiya Al Janoubiya, a band that originated in the south of Budaiya village in 1973, and is led by the late artist Jawhar Mubarak Al Dosari, and later continued by his son, Mubarak Jawhar Al Dosari. The band brings together various forms of Bahraini folk music that reflects the diversity of the people who have inhabited the island throughout history. The Ardha and Samri traditional performances, as wel as vocal art, and other classic Bahraini arts represent the rich musical heritage of the kingdom.
