The inaugural World Para Taekwondo Poomsae Championships 2024 will be held in Bahrain on November 26th and 27th 2024. Registrations are still open and the organisers expect 300-400 participants.

Taekwondo patterns or Poomsae in Korean are a sequence of Taekwondo techniques linked together into a pattern of moves. Patterns are often used for basic training purposes in Taekwondo to refine techniques and movements and are designed to build and consolidate your skills.

This event will showcase the skill and determination of athletes with disabilities from around the world. Bahrain is proud to host this groundbreaking event, which will inspire and empower athletes while promoting inclusivity and accessibility in sports.
